2-alarm blaze sends SW Portland duplex up in smoke; firefighters save resident inside constructing



A fireplace early Wednesday morning destroyed a duplex in Southwest Portland’s Multnomah Village neighborhood.

Portland Fireplace & Rescue arrived on the scene round 3 a.m. to search out flames already coming via the roof, and commanding officers known as for a second alarm to herald extra firefighters and automobiles, hearth officers mentioned in a press release.
