The brand new 12 months is bringing some adjustments to KGW-TV programming. Based on the station, the long-running public affairs program, “Straight Discuss,” which has been anchored by KGW veteran Laural Porter for 15 years, is getting a brand new host.
Stephanie Domurat, who joined KGW as managing editor in September 2023, and presently co-anchors the each day 4 p.m. newscast on the Portland NBC affiliate, would be the new host of “Straight Discuss.”
Porter, who was for years an anchor on KGW night information broadcasts, took day without work late in 2023 to reap the benefits of Oregon’s paid Household Go away Act to assist look after a liked one, as Porter shared on social media.
