New York-based inexperienced espresso buying and selling and roasting firm Espresso Holding Co. filed a lawsuit accusing a Texas-based logistics dealer of contract and negligence after a espresso cargo value greater than $84,000 went lacking.
In accordance with the criticism, filed Jan. 10 in the US District Courtroom in Japanese New York, the espresso cargo was scheduled to be transported from a Espresso Holding Co. facility in La Junta, Colorado, to a distribution warehouse of United Pure Meals (UNFI) in Centralia, Washington, in February of 2024.
Espresso Holding Co. employed Prosper, Texas-based logistics dealer Ryaan Logistics Group, the defendant, to coordinate the cargo, which was scheduled to be picked up by a Florida-based trucking firm known as AFC Trucking, in response to the criticism.
After the espresso load was picked up in Colorado, Ryaan realized that the AFC Trucking driver had truly missed the pickup as a consequence of points together with his truck.
