The Grange of Prince Edward Vineyard lately introduced Massey Crimson, a private-label wine commemorating the a hundred and thirtieth anniversary of Massey Corridor. This collaboration with Roy Thomson Corridor and Allied Music Centre highlights the synergy between wine and music.
Michael Leskovec, CEO of The Grange, emphasizes the shared cultural significance: “Massey Corridor has been a beacon of Canadian creativity and tradition for 130 years, and we couldn’t be extra thrilled to honour its legacy with this particular wine. Massey Crimson is a toast to the previous, current, and way forward for this unbelievable establishment and the artists it continues to encourage.”
Massey Crimson is crafted from grapes grown on The Grange’s 40-acre property in Hillier, Ontario, particularly from the Northfield, Victoria, and Diana blocks. This mix of Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Cabernet Franc provides notes of mocha, ripe berry, and on the palate tart cranberry, leather-based, and tea leaf, pleasant acidity, and fantastic tannins – General: Vibrant, fruit-forward and approachable!
