The Story Behind The Belltown Goddxssxs

Created by Jojo Kitchen, bar supervisor at Seattle’s Rob Roy, the Belltown Goddxssxs is a nod to Seattle’s nickname in addition to a gender-expansive permutation of the phrase “goddess.” Served in a Collins glass, the highball combines non-alcoholic amaro with a proprietary cantaloupe shrub, saffron-rose syrup, and citrus.

Elements

  • 4 ounces chilled soda water
  • 1 ½ ounces contemporary lemon juice
  • 1 ounce The Pathfinder non-alcoholic spirit
  • 1 ounce cantaloupe shrub*
  • ¾ saffron sharbat**
  • Garnish: mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a Collins glass, mix all substances with ice and stir gently to mix.
  2. Garnish with mint.

*Cantaloupe Shrub Elements

  • 100 grams chopped cantaloupe
  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 50 milliliters white wine vinegar

*Cantaloupe Shrub Instructions

  2. Add vinegar and stir to dissolve.
