Conventional Rolled Sugar Cookies with a New Twist

Merry Christmas! Once I was rising up we had a convention of constructing rolled sugar cookies each Christmas. The recipe I’m sharing right this moment is the recipe my household has used for many years. I don’t know the place the recipe originated however I bear in mind my grandmother and mom making them and I did the identical with my kids after they have been younger. This 12 months I baked them with my daughters and two of my three grand kids for the primary time, however we added a bit twist to the household custom.

So What’s the Twist?

In contrast to the cookies we made after we have been younger, we’re skipping the bogus meals dyes in favor of all pure vegetable dye meals coloring. (<–affiliate hyperlink) The colours are stunning and there aren’t any worries about kids consuming the nasty chemical substances present in artificially enhanced meals colorings. I used this powdered coloring made with greens.
