The model was began by two entrepreneurs in Auburn with one making styles of hen salad out of her dwelling. The primary Hen Salad Chick location opened in Jan. 2008 with drive-thru and carryout solely. The founders made 40 kilos of hen salad to promote, opened at 11 a.m. and by 1 p.m. had been offered out.
“The enterprise took off. It had a cult following,” Deviney stated. “Finally they expanded that first location from simply drive-thru and takeout.”
Franchising started in 2012.
