Throughout the mission to date, college students from throughout the district have come collectively to assist construct a greenhouse for T.G. Scott Elementary College. By way of this initiative, the Monroe County College Diet Division has created a larger sense of neighborhood and funding amongst college students in several grade ranges, whereas additionally supporting the distinctive wants of multi-age college students of their agriculture and vitamin training journeys.
To construct the greenhouse at T.G. Scott Elementary College, college students in Mr. DJ Hurn’s building class at Mary Individuals Excessive College constructed PVC pipe greenhouse cowl frames for the backyard beds.
