Its about 12 yrs outdated, and was given to me by an excellent good friend in FL.
I came upon that this can be a particular hybrid, however it has seeds? and apparently my tree got here true from seed? Possibly I am mistaken? However I’ve tasted fruits from a tree labeled as Procimequat, and mine are the identical, and the one that gave me the tree, planted the seed (so it is not grafted or a slicing).
The tree appears proof against greening, and bugs! Possibly as a result of it is a whacky hybrid, or as a result of it is to quick to be seen!
The fruits may be eaten pores and skin and all, they usually style like………hmmmm……
celery, lemon, and orange.
I’ve actually grown to love them, however I have never discovered too many kumquats that I’ll eat pores and skin and all. These fruits are of a unique nature, and would in all probability be good as a garnish, or candied, or cooked someway.
The timber flower and fruit for an excellent portion of the yr.
Anybody else rising this one?
here’s a fabulous hyperlink I discovered about this plant…makes me glad to have one.
