First stirred up by Matt Piacentini, proprietor of NYC cocktail bar The Up & Up, the Safecracker will get its identify from Gian Maria Volonté’s character, El Indio, within the 1965 Western, “For a Few {Dollars} Extra.” Within the movie, Volonté — an Italian actor — portrays a Mexican outlaw who breaks into an “uncrackable” protected throughout a financial institution theft in El Paso. As an homage, the Safecracker fuses Campari with tequila reposado and Ancho Reyes Verde for a bitter, spicy, and seductive combo.
