Once we started trying to find the right winter whiskies so as to add to our Seasons assortment of own-label whiskies, we knew we would have liked sturdy single malts that might lower by the chilly. The three casks we selected seize the texture and flavours of a comfy winter’s night. Examine them out beneath.

ORKNEY 2013
10 Yr Outdated

This densely sherried single malt involves us from the Orkney islands, bringing with it vivid notes of chestnut, cocoa, cedar and hints of demerara rum. It’s a fantastic whisky for a winter’s night time by the hearth.

LAPHROAIG 2015
8 Yr Outdated

A wonderful instance of Laphroaig’s distinctive spirit and sherry casks working in good concord, this has a savoury edge that brings to thoughts smoked bacon and nori seaweed, alongside sweeter notes of cherry drops and marzipan.

BLAIR ATHOL 2007
16 Yr Outdated

This Blair Athol has spent 16 years in a single oloroso sherry butt, wrapping it up in layers of darkish chocolate, walnuts, dried mushrooms, cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s wealthy in texture and significantly advanced.
